Overview
About Naia™ from Eastman
The world needs more sustainable textiles. And they must be accessible to all, not just available for a niche. That’s exactly what we work toward every day at Eastman with our Naia™ family of fibers.
We’re here for the people who care about how fashion is made, at every level. The ones thinking about impact and experience, style and performance, and ready to act on it. We create cellulose acetate fibers that feel good, wear well, and don’t ask for compromise. Naia™ is a fully traceable fiber made by Eastman, a U.S.–based specialty materials company. It is produced in a closed-loop process that recycles and reuses solvents and adheres to the company's highest safety, social, and environmental standards, resulting in a fiber with a low environmental impact.
The Naia™ portfolio includes:
• Naia™ Classic – our signature luxurious, soft, easy-care fiber
• Naia™ Lyte – a higher-tenacity yarn for ultra-light, sheer, or performance fabrics
• Naia™ Renew – produced from 40% GRS-certified recycled content
• Naia™ Renew ES – produced from 60% GRS-certified recycled content for brands that want to go further with recycled inputs
The Naia™ Renew fiber group is produced integrating Eastman's carbon renewal technology – a molecular recycling technology that breaks waste down to its molecular building blocks, enabling the creation of new cellulose acetate fibers without compromising quality and powering a truly circular process. It’s an innovation offering a scalable solution to two of the world’s most pressing environmental challenges: waste pollution and raw material overconsumption.
Available in both filament and staple formats, the Naia™ portfolio offers flexibility for any design need. Whether for everyday essentials, elevated silhouettes, or highly technical pieces, Naia™ blends easily with other fibers and performs across categories – from loungewear to luxury, fashion to home textiles.
If you're designing for the future, we’re here to help build it.
