EDB Madagascar

Economic Development Board of Madagascar (EDBM) is the national Investment Promotion Agency in Madagascar.

Attached to the Presidency of the Republic of Madagascar, EDBM has three main missions :

1) Promotion of private investments : which involves identifying and promoting investment opportunities and projects in strategic sectors, utilizing the "CHOOSE MADAGASCAR" investment guide to highlight the country's potential.

2) Improvement of the business environment : ensuring the technical secretariat and facilitation of the Public-Private Dialogue platform, and supporting the identification and implementation of priority reforms to create a favorable business environment.

3) Investment facilitation : which includes providing assistance and advisory services to investors throughout their establishment phases, facilitating connections between the public and private sectors, and offering a one-stop-shop for facilitating the formalities of investment project implementation.

Strategic sectors : Agribusiness, Tourism, Renewable energy, Mining, Industry, Infrastructure, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
