The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED Cell) is a student-run initiative by MBA students of PUMBA, established in 2011. Our mission is to ignite entrepreneurial thinking, promote innovation, and nurture future business leaders through experiential learning. We organize a range of engaging events and initiatives, including: 🔹 Entrepreneurs’ Conclave – A flagship event where alumni entrepreneurs share their journeys, insights, and startup stories, inspiring students to take bold steps toward entrepreneurship. 🔹 E-Day (Entrepreneurship Day) – A day-long simulation where student teams pitch and execute business ideas, gaining real-time exposure to core management concepts such as budgeting, marketing, and operations. 🔹 E-Talks – Insightful sessions with entrepreneurs and industry experts who share their experiences, lessons, and perspectives on building ventures and navigating challenges. 🔹 The Ultimate Bid – A dynamic and interactive event modeled after the IPL auction, where students form teams and participate in a high-energy simulation of player bidding. The event sharpens strategic thinking, financial planning, and team coordination—bringing management concepts to life in a fun and competitive format. 🔹 EMBARK – Our annual magazine that captures the entrepreneurial spirit of PUMBA. It features student articles, alumni stories, startup highlights, and the latest trends in innovation and business. Through these initiatives, ED Cell PUMBA fosters a practical and vibrant platform for students to explore, learn, and lead in the world of entrepreneurship.
