About EEA - European Topic Centres
The European Topic Centres (ETCs) are thematic expertise centres, consisting of research consortia contracted for a given period by the EEA for tasks identified in the EEA-Eionet Strategy. They support the EEA in the processing and analysis of the data received from member countries. Many EEA outputs are underpinned, supported and complemented by ETC work and outputs.
Currently, there are seven ETCs working with the EEA:
- ETC on Biodiversity and Ecosystems (ETC BE)
- ETC on Circular Economy and Resource Use (ETC CE)
- ETC on Climate Change Adaptation and LULUCF (ETC CA)
- ETC on Climate Change Mitigation (ETC CM)
- ETC on Data Integration and Digitalisation (ETC DI)
- ETC on Human Health and the Environment (ETC HE)
- ETC on Sustainability Transitions (ETC ST)
This LinkedIn page, managed jointly by the ETCs, aims to share selected ETC outputs with wider audiences.
