EERIE I European Eddy-Rich Earth System Models

EERIE is a research project involving 17 institutions across Europe and Africa. The project focuses on improving our understanding of the role of ocean eddies in climate, including the development of high-resolution climate simulations where ocean eddies are explicitly represented by the laws of physics, to ultimately help inform policy and adapt to a changing climate.
