About EIL Intercultural Learning

Hello and welcome :)

We are an Irish non-profit organisation that provides intercultural learning opportunities to interested people from all ages and backgrounds.

We run a variety of programmes which are based on the principles of experiential learning i.e. learning by doing, wherein, participants are equipped with essential tools and knowledge which helps them thrive in a different cultural setting. Our intent is to instill intercultural competency among people for a better life and a better world.

We are proud to engage with about 2000 people, every year through a variety of cultural immersion activities. This includes, study abroad, volunteer abroad, language training, travel awards, group education programmes, etc.

As an educational charity, our primary area of focus is successful implementation of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. All our programmes and initiatives center around goals such as inclusion, equality, environmental sustainability, global peace, etc.

If our work inspires you, you are most welcome to connect with us in any capacity that suits you. You can become a host family and provide a loving home to an international student. You can become an EIL volunteer and simply participate in our events. Or, you can apply for one of our programmes and experience the EIL/AFS effect first-hand.

To learn more about EIL/AFS, you can visit our website at www.eilireland.org or you can send us a DM and we will be happy to talk with you and provide you with any information that you may require.

Join us, so we can build a better and a just world, together.
