Electrohold

Electrohold is the leading electro energy group in Bulgaria, part of the largest publicly listed holding in the country- Eurohold. It owns 40% market share in power distribution, has over 3000 employees and serves 3 million clients in the whole country. The company is successor of CEZ Bulgaria after Eurohold acquired, through its wholly-owned Eastern European Electric Company B.V., the business of Czech energy group CEZ in the country in 2021.

Electrohold represents a group of 7 companies, among which are: EDG West - the owner and operator of the largest power distribution grid in BG (covering an area of c. 40,000 sq. km in Western BG with a total length of 58 000 km); Electrohold Sales - the largest power supplier to individual clients on the regulated market, the biggest provider of "last resort" as well as a lead licensed power trader, supplying electricity to SMEs on the liberalized market; Electrohold Trade - the largest supplier and wholesale trader of electricity to large corporate and industrial clients on the liberalized market.
