About Ecole des Parents et des Educateurs des Bouches-du-Rhône
“Ecole des Parents et des Educateurs des Bouches-du-Rhône” means “School for Parents & Educators of the Bouches-du-Rhône” (South of France county).
Created in 1970, our non-profit charity aims at parenthood support for disadvantaged population. It addresses family individuals (parents, children…) and organizations dealing with families in the fields of education, health & social support.
We’re located act in Marseilles, France’s third-biggest city with 850,000 inhabitants.
We have two activities clusters:
1. Accompanying families
- Childhood protection: judicial mechanisms of exercise of parental responsibility.
- Psychological interviews.
- School animations & activities (e.g. prevention of school violence situations, actions for reducing dropping out of school, meeting-debates with parents & teachers)
2. Training: life-long learning programs in the domains of childhood, parenthood, violence prevention…
