The Equine Gait Analysis Society (EGAS), founded in 2022 by Dr. Filipe Serra Bragança and Dr. Aagje Hardeman, is on a mission to make advanced scientific knowledge on equine gait analysis accessible and practical for equine clinicians.
EGAS bridges the gap between research and clinical application through evidence-based courses designed to enhance diagnostic accuracy and improve treatment outcomes for equine athletes. The comprehensive course-curriculum consists of five two-day modules held at top European clinics and universities, offering a unique blend of theoretical instruction and hands-on training. Led by an international speaker team of academic- and clinical experts, EGAS equips professionals with cutting-edge skills to bring biomechanical insights directly into practice.
