About Electronic Robotics & Innovation Club of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University
There was a time that the requirement of platform, where the hard-earned experience and valuable knowledge of experiments, inventions and creative ideas can be shared by senior level students among newcomers to the field.
That was the time , a group of third year engineering students of KDU( Intake 33), came to a common understanding and an agreement to form a small club called " Robotics Club", to teach and train freshers about developing small microcntroller circuits that can perform simple tasks on command.
Later the small"Robotic Club" community grew larger and larger until it was renamed as " Elctronic Robotics & Innovation Club" ( as "ERIC-KDU"), where undergraduates, graduates and acadamic staff of KDU get together to share and promote their innovative ideas.
Today, ERIC-KDU is a well reputed student organization that does its duty for the development of KDU, with invention and research on the robotics and innovation field.
