eXist Solutions was formed by several of the core eXist-db developers coming together to ensure the future of eXist-db by supporting commercial users. eXist Solutions provides Support, Consultancy, Training and Hosting for eXist-db. Developments produced by eXist Solutions are contributed back into eXist-db when permissible by the client. A proportion of revenue generated by eXist Solutions is also funnelled back into development of eXist-db.
