About Family Support Council
The Family Support Counci's mission is to provide education, prevention and intervention services to support families.
Family Support Council of Douglas County has been serving residents for over thirty years. As a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization, we provide a wide variety of confidential and free support, resources, referrals, and educational services as well as emergency shelter for adult and child victims of domestic, sexual, and family, stalking dating violence.
Imagine a community without family violence. Imagine that every child grows up in a home filled with love and safety. Imagine that each elderly person lives out their life without fear. Imagine that parents can gain strength through education and peer support. And imagine that school children of all ages learn early on about respect, tolerance, and safe communication.
