
Artemis III Mission: Complex Rendezvous, Docking, and Moon Landing Plans for 2027-2028
In 2027, the Artemis III mission will test rendezvous and docking capabilities between NASAโs Orion spacecraft and one or both commercial landers from Blue Origin and SpaceX. With up to three launches โ Space Launch System carrying Orion and its crew, SpaceXโs Starship, and Blue Originโs Blue Moon Mark 2 โ Artemis III will be one of the most highly complex missions NASA has undertaken.
Most importantly, this mission will be an important stepping stone to successfully landing astronauts on the Moon with Artemis IV in 2028. Details:
