Hi, I'm Barry, CEO at Kinetic!

My career has taken me from hands-on technical roles all the way to leading global businesses, and I've always been drawn to complexity: untangling it, rebuilding it, and turning it into something that lasts. I know Education Technology well, and I'm relatively new to the Higher Ed sector - which means I'm learning constantly from our customers.

At Kinetic, I've found exactly the challenge I was looking for. We're part of Volaris Group's Education and Cultural Industries portfolio, where we have a genuine custodianship responsibility. We serve over 75 million people globally, and that scale means we're building for decades, not quarters. I'm passionate about creating genuine partnerships with our customers and a company where our people can do the best work of their careers. You simply can't build world-class outcomes without world-class people.

I'm a firm believer in Radical Candour, data-driven decisions, and leading with trust. Culture is built in the small moments as much as the big ones.

When I'm not at work, you'll find me on the golf course. Oh, and if you spot unusual snacks in the Kinetic kitchen, I've probably just landed from somewhere interesting 🌍. My latest trip to Japan also completed a family mission: we've now visited every Disney park in the world. When I'm not planning the next adventure, I'm trying to convince people that Pickleball is a serious sport - it absolutely is. 🏓
