Cheryl Harris OAM Honored as Queensland Senior Australian of the Year for Community Service
A well-deserved recognition for Cheryl Harris OAM, our latest Queensland Senior Australian of the Year.
Cheryl has dedicated much of her life to community services and volunteering, making a sustained contribution to improving the lives of others on the Sunshine Coast. In her role as President of Health and Ageing Partnerships, she has supported collaboration across health, aged care and community organisations, helping to promote more coordinated approaches and enabling older people to age well in their communities.
It was a privilege to acknowledge Cheryl today at the Caloundra Seniors Expo, hosted by the Queensland Government, where I had the opportunity to MC the event.
