If your company folded tomorrow, what would you do?
If you don't have an answer, that's the answer.
This is what I see keep people trapped in careers they don't like more than anything else.
They feel like fractional or a new business model is a "risk."
Wasted time. Wasted money. Wasted effort and feeling bad for it not working.
Sticking with their current career feels "safe." Without "risk." Without "loss."
They see the upside of going fractional, but they stay stuck in the emotional fear of loss.
Here's the bad news.
You're already losing. You've already lost so much.
You're at risk of getting laid off and losing 100% of your income any day.
You're at risk of struggling to find another job and burning through all your savings until you find it, if you ever do.
If you're working 50-60+ hours a week, you're already losing 10-20+ hours a week of time with your family that you can never, ever get back.
If you're feeling chronically stressed, tired, burned out, fed up with your career, you're already losing all the mental peace and happiness you could have had.
The mental peace you could have had if you had control over:
- When you work
- Where you work
- The work you do
- Who you work with
- Your income and financial security
Corporate "leaders" are employees who lead their function in the company.
But they can't even fully lead their own careers and lives.
There is no avoiding a decision. No avoiding risk or loss.
There is just one question.
Do you want to keep suffering the same problems with your career that motivated you to read this post?
Or do you want to put the work in and escape?
If you try and you fail, you're in the same position you were before. You haven't really lost much.
If you succeed, your life will be totally different.
You won't have any of those problems your career is putting you through every single day.
If you are:
- A VP or C-level executive
- With 10+ years of experience in your field
- You drive revenue (marketing or sales) or control costs (operations or finance)
You have enough career skill to escape your career and go fractional.
The only thing you need is the right system to go to market and sign clients.
If you want that so you can escape your career:
DM me “Fractional” and we’ll talk about how we can help.
