Join Vicki Cleary Day to Honour Women Lost to Violence and Support Community Safety
This Sunday, the Cleary family will host Vicki Cleary Day in partnership with Coburg Football Club and Merri-bek City Council. This event honours the women lost to men’s violence and the families impacted by this violence.
Sporting clubs play an important role in challenging patriarchal views, supporting educational initiatives, and encouraging men to think about their role in preventing violence against women as well as calling out sexism and gender inequality – one of the main drivers of family violence.
Come along and watch Coburg vs Carlton as we stand together to end family violence and create a safer community for everyone.
