It is one thing to hear about a career in tech.
It is another to meet the people already building one.

#tecHER is Volvo Group’s initiative to bring more women into tech by creating space for inspiration, networking, mentoring, and real conversations about careers in STEM.

At Volvo CE in Changwon, Korea, the event gave female engineering students a closer look at life within the company. From site visits to conversations with women working across technology, operations, and purchasing.

For Junkyeong Park, now a Structure Engineer on the Frame and Exterior team, and Dayhe Park, now a Structure Engineer on the Operator Interface team, it helped turn interest into confidence.

“What impressed me most was hearing directly from female engineers and visiting the site. It wasn’t just company promotion - it helped me decide this was a place where I could build my career,” says Junkyeong.
