Memorable Night Celebrating History and Theatre with Governor Mike Dukakis

Last night was incredible! My first time seeing SUFFS on Broadway was a whirlwind of emotion, and last night, at Emerson Colonial, was similarly memorable. I was reunited with my hero and role model Governor Mike Dukakis! Gov. Dukakis proclaimed Deborah Samson (Sampson) the Official Heroine of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, making the Bay State the first in the nation to name a human as an official symbol of the state’s heritage.
