Mid-Year Reflection: Strategies for Overcoming Burnout and Achieving Milestones

A #burnout check in. Mid year energy audit.

Exercise more. Get more rest. Achieve next #milestone at work.

1st of January of each year where we set our New Year’s #resolution. Setting new habits to overcome old habits.
Here we are at the halfway mark.

Regardless of where we are in that journey, both in our personal lives and at work, it’s a good time to breathe and take stock of how far we’ve come.

Other than the goals we set, have we had time / should we start to set time for the following?
- time for ourselves. Me time: To reflect, to strategize, to recharge.
- Time with people who matter: family, kids, parents.
- Time for health: play the long game.

The halfway mark is a significant milestone in every race and walk of life. It’s the point where we have taken #effort to reach, yet nowhere near the finish line. Give up and all the effort was wasted. Push too add too soon and cramp will set in, effectively ending the race prematurely.

Let’s pace ourselves. As long as we focus on the end #goal and take it one step at a time, we will reach the finish line!
