New Jersey Sues GEO Group Over Delaney Hall Conditions, Protesters Demand Gov. Sherrill's Intervention

New Jersey just filed a lawsuit against the GEO Group, the company running Delaney Hall. But this is not what the detainees or the protesters wanted. While the suit aims to take action on the alleged unsafe conditions and even a reported tuberculosis case, it's not what the detainees demanded. They want to meet with Gov. Mikie Sherrill herself.
