Introducing ‘Coral Sea’ ✈️🪸🐠🐢

VH-OGG is the latest Airbus A321XLR to join our growing fleet, and features a special livery that proudly celebrates Australia’s very own natural wonder of the world, the Great Barrier Reef.

We have partnered with the Great Barrier Reef Foundation since 2009 to support their work in protecting and restoring our iconic reefs. And in 2024, we committed $10 million over 10 years to the Reef Restoration Fund, which helps support scientists, Traditional Owners, and local tourism operators seeking to restore corals across the Great Barrier Reef and other Australian coral reefs.

The aircraft - the seventh of 48 XLRs ordered by Qantas - has just finished being painted in the Airbus factory in Hamburg. It is expected to begin its journey to Australia in the coming weeks and will be flown home by our very own pilots.
