Ciao Rimini!
Back from #RoutesEurope with plenty of valuable insights, honest conversations and a clear picture of just how challenging the current situation is for airlines and the aviation industry in general.
Over the past few days, we had a lot of meetings with existing partners, long-standing industry contacts and potential new partners and every single one of them was valuable for Dresden Airport and Leipzig/Halle Airport.
Especially in times like these, it is more important than ever to maintain the close exchange and openly discuss challenges, opportunities and market developments.
Events like this always remind us just how important face-to-face interaction really is. Beyond the scheduling meetings, it is often the spontaneous conversations in between that lead to valuable discussions, new perspectives and ideas that would probably never come up during a video call.
A huge thank you to everyone we had the pleasure of meeting. Despite all the challenges, there was also a shared sense that the industry will move through this together.
Special thanks also go to Corinne Miseer from Dresden Marketing GmbH / Visit Dresden, who joined us at the event for the very first time to help promote the region together with us. Great energy, fantastic teamwork and definitely not the last time working side by side.
And finally, a big thank you to Kira Fabiunke, with whom I had the pleasure of attending the event. We spent three long and busy days together, had many valuable meetings and worked together as a great team throughout the entire event.
