Submit Workshop Proposals for 2026 New York LGBTQIA+ Convening

The Governor’s Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs is now accepting workshop proposals for the 2026 LGBTQIA+ Convening on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at the Empire State Plaza Concourse in Albany, New York.

This year is the 5th New York State LGBTQIA+ Convening, a one-day event that brings together policymakers and government officials from across state agencies to hear directly from advocates about the most pressing needs of the LGBTQIA+ community and the proposed or current efforts to meet those needs. This is a unique and impactful opportunity to directly connect with internal decision makers and allies across New York State agencies and build partnerships to create structural changes that support LGBTQIA+ New Yorkers.
