The Real Problem with Automation: Balancing AI and Human Oversight

This video is funny, but sadly...a lot of companies are slowly doing this in real life.

Not the “AI flying planes” part LOL.

The “automating things that should never lose human oversight” part.

That’s the real problem.

Right now, everyone wants to say:
“We replaced this team with AI.”
“We automated the workflow.”
“We cut costs.”

But smart automation was never about removing humans from everything.

It was about removing repetitive work so humans can focus on better decisions.

There’s a difference.

Good delegation:
→ AI handles the boring parts
→ humans handle judgment

Bad delegation:
→ AI handles things nobody is supervising anymore 😭

A lot of businesses are still confusing efficiency with intelligence.

Just because something CAN be automated doesn’t mean it SHOULD be.

The companies that win with AI won’t be the ones automating the most.

It’ll be the ones that know where human judgment still matters.
