Transforming 900 Years of History into Interactive Games: Durham University's Norman Chapel Game Hack
What happens when you turn 900 years of history into a playable story?
This June, #students from across Durham University are being invited into the Norman Chapel — the oldest part of Durham World Heritage Site — to build short, history-inspired games in multidisciplinary teams.
The Norman Chapel Game Hack runs on 12, 18 and 25 June and is open to all disciplines. Whether you bring research skills, narrative flair, sound design, coding, art, or project coordination — there’s a role for you (no game development experience needed).
Winning game(s) may even become part of the Durham Castle visitor experience.
🗓️ 12 / 18 / 25 June
