Day 2 of “Bridging the Gender Gap” moved the conversation from ideas to action.
Building on the insights and recommendations from the report “Bridging the Gender Gap: Work, Wealth, Welfare & Well-being for Women”, the interactive 4Ws Framework Workshop facilitated by Kshama Kaushik and Binoo Malik Wadhwa focused on translating research into practical, regional implementation pathways.
Participants from across Asia came together to:
🔹 Identify regional challenges and opportunities
🔹 Share best practices and lived experiences
🔹 Co-design actionable pilot initiatives
🔹 Map pathways for sustainable and measurable impact
What stood out most was the spirit of collaboration in the room — policymakers, researchers, business leaders, and development practitioners collectively exploring how the 4Ws framework can drive inclusive growth and strengthen women’s agency across diverse regional contexts. A sincere thank you to our workshop facilitators for leading such engaging and thought-provoking sessions.
We are also grateful to Anita George for the insightful closing session, and for contributing her perspective, energy, and commitment. We would also like to thanks Megha Wadhwa Chhabra to deliver the Vote of Thanks and reflect on two days of meaningful dialogue, shared vision and to all the delegates whose insights, participation, and commitment made this seminar truly impactful.
Hosted by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Japan in partnership with TalentNomics India, the seminar reaffirmed that bridging the gender gap requires collective action, sustained dialogue, and collaborative leadership.
Here’s to continuing the journey from conversation to implementation.
