UAE Advises Citizens to Avoid Non-Essential Travel to Uganda, DRC, and South Sudan Due to Ebola

The #UAE has advised its citizens to avoid non-essential travel to Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and South Sudan due to ongoing health developments related to the #Ebola virus disease (EVD).

In a travel advisory, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged Emiratis currently in the affected countries to exercise caution, follow local health and safety guidelines, and stay informed about the evolving situation.

The ministry also encouraged citizens abroad to register with the "Twajudi" service to facilitate communication and assistance during emergencies.

The advisory underscores the importance of monitoring public health developments and following official travel guidance when planning international travel.
