UN:BLOCK Riga 2023: A Triumph for the Baltic Blockchain Community

Once again, the UN:BLOCK event held in Riga has come to an end, and we have to admit that as a company based in the Baltics, we couldn’t be prouder to see such an event taking place in our region.

It’s truly impressive that we are able to gather top tier individuals from major companies like World Liberty Finance, Kraken, Mastercard, and Binance, alongside representatives from the Latvian government and regulatory institutions. Bringing together leaders from crypto, regulation, and the public sector in one place creates a uniquely valuable environment.

Hosting the event in Riga, especially in the welcoming and cozy setting of Hanza Perons, adds a special charm. The atmosphere feels less formal, which we believe is a real strength. It allows people to connect more freely, have open conversations, and ultimately makes the blockchain industry feel more accessible to everyone.

At the same time, it is worth being honest.

Events like this do not always bring entirely new information. There can be a fair amount of repetition in what is shared on stage, and often we have already heard or explored many of these ideas before.

But that is not really the point.

The real value lies in being there, experiencing the energy of the industry, understanding where things are heading, and connecting with the people shaping it. Not every insight needs to be new or deeply analyzed. Sometimes, simply being present is what matters most.

From our perspective, this event delivers tremendous value. We are always happy to participate and be there with our FINCI team.

And of course, huge kudos to the organizers for making it all happen year after year. It is no small task, and you continue to pull it off in style.
