Understanding Neurofibromatosis: Support and Resources for Individuals and Families
Neurofibromatosis (NF) is a genetic condition that causes tumours to grow on nerves throughout the body.
These tumours are usually non-cancerous, but the condition can affect people in very different ways.
For some, it may be mild.
For others, it can impact:
• Learning and development
• Vision or hearing
• Mobility and physical health
• Daily life and wellbeing
There’s currently no cure, and symptoms can vary greatly from person to person.
That’s why awareness, early support, and the right services are so important.
💬 At iCoordinate, we’re here to help individuals and families navigate support and feel confident in their journey.
