Do you know if you’re at risk for a #stroke? The good news is that many stroke risk factors are manageable with routine checkups, care and healthy lifestyle choices. Knowing your numbers and talking with your doctor are important first steps.
At UCF Lake Nona Hospital, we’re connected to @HCA Healthcare’s broader network of care, which includes 45 comprehensive stroke centers. Caregivers across our network treat more than 60,000 stroke patients each year. Through the support of HCA Healthcare and the HCA Healthcare Foundation – in collaboration with the @American Heart Association’s Getting to the Heart of StrokeTM initiative – we're helping raise awareness about the connection between heart health and stroke and providing education and resources to our communities.
If you or someone you know suffers a stroke, call 911 immediately. Before you need emergency care, click here for a list of ERs near you: https://bit.ly/49cFupq
