Wolf Popper Sues ChampionX for Stock Buybacks and Hidden Acquisition Offers

Wolf Popper has filed a class action lawsuit against ChampionX Corporation alleging the company bought back its own stock from investors at prices below an acquisition offer from Schlumberger while failing to disclose that offer to the investing public.

According to the lawsuit, ChampionX allegedly received acquisition offers as high as $37.80 per share while repurchasing ChampionX stock at significantly lower market prices.

The lawsuit further alleges investors sold their shares without important information that could have affected their decision to sell.
