The Feminist Rights Institute (FRI) promotes feminist legal studies and gender law as an independent organization. We network with professionals from research and practice, both nationally and internationally. As a place of dialogue between theory and practice, we see gender issues as a cross-cutting theme affecting all areas of law. Our vision: a more gender-just world where people live free from rigid norms and hierarchies are dismantled. FRI operates throughout Switzerland, considering regional differences, and develops foundations for law, legislation, and equality practices.
