Launched in 2021 by Gen Next Education, g2 was created to transform how university admissions and recruitment professionals connect with international high school counselors and IECs. The name g2 is derived from globalED gathering, reflecting its original vision: a space designed to foster deep, lasting relationships and meaningful opportunities to help create future-ready students. Today, g2 encompasses both in-person events and an interactive online platform, offering a dynamic ecosystem for collaboration and professional growth. g2 events offer multiple ways to connect and collaborate. The g2 Experience, our signature in-person gathering, goes beyond a traditional conference—this curated, offsite event fosters deep connections through strategic networking, professional development, and interactive workshops in an engaging, collaborative setting. g2 Virtual, our annual online gathering, was intentionally made free to ensure accessibility for every university representative, high school counselor, and IEC worldwide. This event brings the global community together for expert-led sessions and seamless networking. g2 Dialogues are exclusive, small-group events hosted at local high schools, providing a more intimate setting to strengthen counselor relationships and engage ambitious students in key markets. Beyond collaborative events, g2 also features the g2 Community and the g2 Academy, innovative tools designed to support higher education institutions and counselors in building and maintaining strong professional relationships. Through institution-counselor matching, knowledge sharing, and a customizable university Resource Center, g2 helps institutions and counselors navigate the growing complexities of international education.
