It was the years-long quest to create the perfect espresso by the Italian barista Achille Gaggia, in the Milan of the Thirties, that gave birth to one of the most representative Italian brands in the world.
In 1938 Achille Gaggia filed the patent that revolutionized the way of extracting the aromas from coffee, and allowed us to taste the espresso with crema layer, a unique pleasure since then synonymous with the perfect Italian espresso.
