GAIKER Technology Centre

GAIKER, member of Basque Research and Technology Alliance, BRTA, is a Technology Centre located in the Technological Park of Bizkaia and is devoted to the up-take of own knowledge and to the development of new technologies that are later transferred to customers coming from sectors such as the pharmaceutical, dermocosmetics, food, health, environment, chemistry, recycling, transport, construction, packaging, among others.

From 1985, the Centre has carried more than 2,650 R&D Projects related to its Knowledge Areas: Biotechnology, Sustainable Composites and Functional Polymers and Recycling and Circular Economy. Besides its activity in R&D, GAIKER offers to its customers Advanced Technological Services, Analysis and Tests and Technological Dissemination Services.

GAIKER, which at present counts on more than 116 employees, obtained in 2025 the certification of its Innovation Management System in accordance with ISO 56001 standard, which added to the rest of certifications and accreditations of the Centre, guarantees the quality of its work.
