Overview
About AutoTQ
AutoTQ® is an automatic tourniquet designed to stop life-threatening extremity bleeding quickly in emergency situations. AutoTQ simplifies bleeding control during high-stress events where hesitation, improper placement, or inconsistent pressure can delay care.
Unlike traditional windlass tourniquets that rely on user strength and guesswork, AutoTQ provides interactive audio instructions and automatic tightening to apply controlled, circumferential pressure around the limb. Integrated audio instructions guide the user step-by-step through application, helping ensure the tourniquet is applied correctly when every second counts. With one-button activation, AutoTQ reduces cognitive load and variability during emergencies, making it well-suited for public access, workplace safety programs, and first responder environments.
AutoTQ was developed to address common challenges in real-world hemorrhage control, including inconsistent pressure application, user error, and difficulty operating tourniquets under stress. Its automated design supports rapid deployment and repeatable performance, helping improve confidence and response time in critical bleeding emergencies.
AutoTQ is FDA registered, proudly assembled in the United States, and protected by U.S. Utility Patented and Patent Pending. It is intended for prehospital and emergency use to control severe extremity bleeding. AutoTQ supports modern bleeding control initiatives and complements existing emergency preparedness tools such as AEDs in public and occupational settings.
