GHPL manages GOP’s working interests in onshore upstream petroleum exploration and production (E&P) joint ventures.
It acts as Licensee for offshore blocks
GHPL agrees the work plans, budgets and monitors progress through TCM/FCM/OCM/MCM and workshops which are held on a regular basis
Major operating companies in partnership with GHPL are BP, BHP Billiton, OMV, Eni, Petronas Carigali, Hycarbex, MOL, OPL, OGDCL, PPL, POL and PEL
There are 74 upstream petroleum joint ventures having GOP working interest
- 19 Onshore Exploration Licenses with 5% carried interest
- 04 Onshore Exploration Licenses with 25% interest ( 2009 Policy)
- 16 Offshore Exploration Licenses under PSA
- 35 Development & Production Leases with 12.5% to 25% working interest
