GOVET

As part of the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB), GOVET uses the findings of VET research to pool expertise and experience from VET, business, international relations and development cooperation. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has the technical and legal supervision.

We respond to domestic enquiries regarding opportunities for cooperation and participation and to enquiries from abroad regarding the German vocational education and training system and its stakeholders.

GOVET acts as the administrative arm for the “Round Table for International Vocational Education and Training Cooperation”. The Round Table reaches agreement on how a coherent presence on the part of German stakeholders can be ensured.

We take on an active role in helping to shape international vocational education and training cooperation. We establish structures and/or support cooperation agreements and projects on behalf of the BMBF.
