About Grapoila

We believe the food industry generates excessive waste, with many byproducts that could be repurposed instead of discarded. Byproducts like winery pomace and rosehip seeds from tea and jam production are perfect raw materials for crafting new, sustainable products. Through upcycling and zero-waste production, we transform these overlooked resources into valuable goods. Since 2009, we have been cold-pressing over 20 types of nuts and seeds at our factory in Hungary. Our proprietary machinery and technology, combined with meticulously tested raw materials and strict adherence to top food industry standards, allow us to produce cold-pressed oils of exceptional quality. Under the Grapoila brand, we offer both conventional and organic gourmet and cosmetic oils, available worldwide. We also supply bulk and private-label products. Cold-pressing is a gentle, purely mechanical process that extracts oil without altering the seeds’ chemical composition or requiring additives or chemicals. Grapoila oils are perfect for salads, seasoning cold dishes, and, in the case of high smoke-point varieties, even for frying. The pressing process yields nutrient-rich seed pellets as byproducts, packed with vitamins, minerals, vegan protein, and fiber. These are milled and sieved into Grapoila seed flours—a gluten-free, nutrient-dense alternative to wheat flour. Seed flours are versatile, serving as natural baking ingredients, thickeners, flavor enhancers, and colorants. They even inspired our collaboration with Harrer Chocolate to create a plant-based white chocolate recipe. Additionally, we repurpose oil sediment into gourmet spreads, creams, and natural cosmetics. In our zero-waste production cycle, every byproduct finds a purpose—whether sold as-is or refined into premium foods, natural cosmetics, or animal feed. By 2025, Grapoila has earned numerous food and innovation awards, including multiple Great Taste stars.
