Founded in 1953, The Gray Insurance Company is a family-owned insurer built on relationships and service. We provide Workers’ Compensation, Business Automobile, and General Liability coverage—both specific and aggregate—along with Claims Management and Safety & Risk Management services. Our program is designed to address the complexities of overlapping state and federal jurisdictions and contractual arrangements. Coverage is offered through appointed agents, with headquarters in southeast Louisiana, serving primarily the Gulf Coast and southeastern U.S.
As part of our loss-sensitive program, Gray offers pre-funded SIRs/deductibles based on monthly payroll reporting. This structure ensures stable cash flow during the policy period while rewarding insureds who effectively control losses. In most states, we also provide stop-loss protection to safeguard against high claims frequency.
