The specialty insurance brokerage Greene & Associates was founded in 1986, when William Greene resigned his position as vice president of a major national wholesaler with a vision of a specialty organization built to specifically serve the unique insurance needs of retail agents. After just a few months, Greene & Associates secured contracts with key specialty line companies and moved into its first office in Orchard Park, NY. Greene & Associates quickly established itself as an insurance leader in commercial, wholesale brokerage and underwriting.
