About GSR SPA
1968
The business from Gentilis’ brothers began as a real start-up company specialized with repairings and trucks transformation, mechanical and hydraulic applied to industrial machinery, goods lifting and ground movement.
1976
Takeover of the historical wooden stairs company and ladder truck “Scalificio Riminese”, founded in the 1890.
The Gentili’s brothers operate an important renovation on the production and a few years later they began the production of the first aerial platforms.
1990
During the year 1986 the Gentili’s brothers decided to split up the company into 2 branches:
Benito Gentili continued with the original business from Gentili Oleodinamica (cranes on trucks, forklifts, machinery for handling / logistics, etc.), while Vincenzo Gentili continued with the business of Scalificio Riminese and in the 1990, founded GSR specializing in the design and manufacture of truck-mounted lifting platforms only.
TODAY
Today GSR is a solid company that operates internationally: the production of aerial platforms is take place in 3 factories and the distribution is developped through efficent commercial and post-sales network spread in all 5 continents.
