The Commonwealth Fund's Harkness Fellowships provide a unique opportunity for individuals who are committed to advancing health care policy and practice to spend a year in the United States conducting internationally comparative research with mentorship from leading U.S. experts. Currently, Harkness Fellows come from nine countries: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
