About Heka VR
HEKA VR is a Virtual Reality software tool for therapists to support people suffering from auditory hallucinations, specifically, hearing malevolent voices.
The software includes a virtual reality simulation training program and voice modulation in real time, which will enable the patient to face their malevolent voices and regain control.
HEKA VR is a spin-out of Khora and was previously called Challenge. It is developed in collaboration with the Danish Regions: Region H, Region S and Region N. Currently in a double-blinded clinical trial with 266 patients.
It has been supported by Danish Innovation Fund and has won Danish Digital Awards 2022, Danish Design Awards 2022 and Halo Award 2020.
