About Horton's Orthotics & Prosthetics
When you choose Horton’s for orthotic or prosthetic care, you can rest assured that your patient or family member will receive individualized attention, skilled care, & the highest quality of products incorporating the most advanced materials & technology currently available. Since our beginnings in 1981, we have built a strong reputation based on our technical proficiency & high quality of service.
In addition to intensive prosthetic intervention education & training, our practitioners keep their skills updated by regularly attending professional seminars and workshops held on a state, regional, and national basis. Horton's orthotists, prosthetists, and technicians routinely complete training programs for specialty products & design.
Once a patient is referred to one of our facilities they will receive a comprehensive evaluation followed by a complete analysis of the potential devices that will address their specific situation & needs. As experienced practitioners, our staff members are familiar with a variety of devices, both traditional & innovative.
Horton’s clinicians are active rehabilitation team members, assisting other healthcare providers in developing and following the patient's comprehensive recovery program. We offer input regarding appropriate rehabilitation devices & recent innovations in the O&P field. We fabricate each device according to each physician's detailed Rx.
In order to pursue the fitting & fabrication of any orthotic and prosthetic device Horton's must receive a Letter of Medical Necessity and prescription from a physician and/or an other medical professional involved in the patients rehabilitative process.
Horton's ABC-certified and State Licensed practitioners meet the highest standards in O&P fabrication & patient care. As O&P specialists, we welcome challenging diagnoses & look forward to creating unique solutions to difficult & complex situations.
