About Indo American Association
The Indo-American Association (IAA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1993 to promote cultural arts of Indian subcontinent. IAA is Houston’s longest running arts organization with a mission to preserve and promote the performing arts of the Indian sub-continent. We have provided a platform for both world-renowned as well as emerging artists at fine venues such as the Wortham Center, Brown Auditorium, Moore's School of Music, Hobby Centre, MATCH, Asia Society, and Stafford Civic Center.
Over the years, IAA has built a reputation of fostering the appreciation of performing arts within diverse Houston communities and now in our virtual world. In 2020 and 2021, with the cancellation of our entire season, IAA Houston launched a robust digital platform and hosted more than 150+ virtual performances and productions.
