Institute of Conformity Assessment of Uganda (ICAU)

Institute of Conformity Assessment of Uganda (ICAU) is a non-profit, public-benefit organization of independent professionals and providers of conformity assessment services as applied to products, processes, services, systems, installations, projects, data, designs, materials, claims or persons. The conformity assessment services offered by our members are focused on delivering trust and confidence through audits, assessments, validation, verification, inspection, testing, certification, training and other assurance schemes. There are three common factors that bind our members together, these are; a) ICAU members offer a wide range of conformity assessment services across various sectors of the economy through out the country and in the region. b) ICAU endeavour to deliver services that are of real value and benefit to clients and the economy leading to business or organizational success, growth and sustainability. c) ICAU always demonstrate integrity and competence in their undertakings guided by a recognized compliance framework. ICAU represents the interests and views of its members within a wide range of partners, regulators, policy and decision makers in the conformity assessment realm on a local, regional and international level.
