International Center for Child Health and Development - ICHAD

ICHAD's mission is to contribute to the reduction of poverty and improvement of public health outcomes for children, adolescents, and families in low-resource communities, particularly those in Sub-Saharan Africa and other developing nations, through: *Innovative Applied Intervention research *Capacity Building Opportunities for a new Generations of Scholars *Raising Public Awareness and Support for Economic Empowerment Interventions; and *Informing Public Policy and Programming ICHAD's offices are located at Washington University in St. Louis, USA and Makasa, Uganda along with researchers and collaborators from the Global North and Global South.
