The International Computer Room Experts Association ICREA is a worldwide organisation that gathers specialists involved in the design, construction, operation, maintenance, supervision and commisioning of Data Centers infrastructure, to achieve a reliable, secure, highly available, resilient and failure tolerant facility.

ICREA is founded for having a quantifiable guide and references to ensure the methodology to grant the continuous operation of the Data Center.

As a result, ICREA publishes the international ICREA-STD-131, which shows the best practice for power supply, air conditioning, communications, security, location, governance, and sustainability.
